President's Message

Hello Members and Friends of ICF San Francisco Bay Area Coaches (SFBAC),  Keiko

I'm thrilled to let you know that our SFBAC community is growing!  Since we launched our new membership and dues structure on May 1st, our membership has grown by 40%!  Please join me in giving a warm welcome to all our new members (listed below).

As we grow even larger, we plan to offer many more opportunities to connect with each other and get the kind of inspiration, support, and sense of community that our members have enjoyed.  But we need many more volunteers to help us implement our vision for our newly expanding chapter.

Here are three ways that you can help us to make this chapter provide value for you:

  • Give us Feedback .... If you haven't already done so, please fill out our very brief online survey using the link that was emailed to SFBAC members a few weeks ago.  Your inputs are key to creating and fostering a vibrant coaching community.
  • Volunteer for one of our Committees ... There's cool stuff coming, and we need your help to make this all happen.  We're planning to offer exciting new ways to conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings for all our members across the Bay Area ... live video-streaming of speaker events, teleclasses/webinars, Mastermind groups, special interest groups, regional activities in various parts of the Bay Area, and more.  Even if you can only offer a few hours a month, we need your help!  We're seeking volunteers who can help make these ideas a reality:
    • Regional Activities (North Bay, East Bay, Silicon Valley/South Bay)
    • Speaker Programs
    • Virtual Education Programs (teleclasses/webinars/live streaming)

There are also opportunities to help us with Business Alliances, Communications, Membership, Marketing & PR, and our new Website.   Simply reply to this email and we'll schedule a phone call with you to discuss how you can help.

  • Join SFBAC as a member .... This is a very exciting time to be a member of SF Bay Area Coaches.  If you haven't joined us yet, what are you waiting for?  We have a lively community of coaches that you'll love to be with and grow with.  Click here to learn more about our membership benefits and to join online Click here.

ICF San Francisco Bay Area Coaches is a vibrant, innovative, fun and wildly successful community of professional coaches ... the go-to place to learn, grow, succeed, and thrive together.

I look forward to seeing you at our June 13th monthly gathering.

All the best,

Keiko Signature

A recent study exploring the connections between strengths use, goal progress, psychological needs, and well-being, revealed that those who use their signature strengths:

  • Progress further on their stated goals.
  • Fulfill their psychological needs in more meaningful ways (autonomy, relatedness, and competence), and
  • Increase their overall well-being (a combination of higher life satisfaction, higher positive emotions, and lower negative emotions.)

As coaches we want those results not just for our clients but also for ourselves!  Using StrengthsFinder, Greg offers his clients a fully integrated process to productivity and fulfillment in work, relationships, and even spirituality.  He coaches with the belief that success is about knowing your individual uniqueness, who you are, how you're wired, and how that can provide such clarity that you're empowered to show up in your world with more confidence, courage, and contentment.

Greg will be using Gallup's StrengthsFinder assessment for this discussion.  You can take the online inventory ($19.95) to learn what your top 5 strengths are:

Knowing your personal results will help you get even more out of this presentation but it's not mandatory for you to experience benefit.
