President’s Message:

May is an exciting month for SFBAC, as we are participating in our first ever International Coaching Week (ICW).  ICW is an annual week-long global celebration of the coaching profession taking place May 19-25, 2014. During this week, coaches around the world offer a variety of activities and pro bono services in their local communities to share coaching’s impact. From educational sessions, to coaching demonstrations to panel discussions, ICW offers something for everyone.

SFBAC has a lot of fun activities planned in the San Francisco Bay Area.  We are offering coaching for small business owners in partnership with SCORE, which provides counseling and mentoring to entrepreneurs and startups.  In addition, SFBAC's Book Club will launch, and I will lead the discussion on Steve Chandler and Rich Litvin's book, "The Prosperous Coach."  There will be regional happy hours to support our distance members in connecting within their communities.  And we'll be taking to the streets at Union Square for some renegade coaching flash mob style!

Be sure to join the fun with us May 19-24 and stay tuned for the calendar of events and how to participate.

Bringing Our Bay Area Best To International Coaching Week

  • Renegade Coaching in Union Square

May Monthly Gathering: Co-Conscious Creation with Carl Buchheit

Are you ready to find new ways to understand and make sense out of our experience of being human?  Do you want to understand why your current relationships unfold the way they do? Are you looking for powerful ways to directly change the feelings that are associated with experiences you encounter in real life?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the meeting for you!  Carl Buchheit, is one of the finest NLP practitioners in the world and hales from Marin County!  He is coming to share some of what he knows including filters, frames, tips and tools to help us transform our relationship with ourselves so that we can then help others. Through multiple exercises Carl will introduce a basic format for NLP change work.  This will be a truly fun and dynamic evening and we will leave with a new sense of possibility.

Carl Buchheit has been involved with NLP for 30+ years and has taught extensively in the USA and Australia.  He has trained many ICF coaches as well.
