The rain was an amazing introduction to fall this week… a time to harvest abundant blessings, stand in gratitude, and relax a little into the pause promised by the change of seasons.
We on the SFBAC board are grateful to be rounding out another successful year of serving coaches in the greater Bay Area, and we’re excited to be preparing for the holidays with our traditional holiday get-together in San Francisco.
The theme for the latter part of this year has been Connection, Collaboration and Community. To offer more connection in the community, we continue to offer RSVP live-streaming events locally, and a book club every other month in various parts of the bay. Towards collaboration, we invite you all to actively participate. As an ICF-chapter, we are involved in the ICF Western Region Advisory Council (WRAC) where we’re collaborating to find ways of sharing programs with each other. In terms of community, we’re slowly expanding our reach in the global community by offering our speaker program more broadly to anyone nationally and internationally who might be interested in accessing the content we offer.
So much to look forward to, and so much to be grateful for! We coaches matter as we have our growing impact on the world. It is my personal wish for us all to be present as the leaves fall, be grateful for the fruits in our basket, and gather closer for thanks as the year winds down towards the holiday season. May love and abundance keep you all well at this time of positive change.

RSI: Changing the Face of Leadership
— by Marita Fridjhon, Anne Rød and Faith Fuller
Leaders need a new paradigm that can offer the speed and scale required to adapt and thrive in the face of constant change." - an excerpt from RSI: Transforming the Face of Leadership
Relationship Systems Intelligence™ is an advanced and courageous way of approaching leadership and team interactions. The development of RSI™ within a team or organizational system accelerates collaboration and supports the creative thinking needed to face the challenges of this millennium. In the same way that Emotional Intelligence equips individuals to master their internal life, and Social Intelligence engenders empathy, RSI enables leaders and teams to tap into the true potential of human beings’ collective intelligence and creative powers.
The basic principle of RSI is the redirection of focus from the individuals within the system, to the whole system as an entity in itself. This shift in focus enables Leaders, teams and organizations to move beyond personal concerns and petty conflicts to a positive and generative group identity. The strength of a team’s identity provides resilience and the resources necessary to navigate the constantly changing challenges organizations face.

The Leadership Circle Profile is:
More Revealing–It 's the only 360 linking leadership competencies to core beliefs governing behavior.
More Advanced–Instantly reveals key opportunities for your executive’s development. No reams of documentation. Enables coaching to start at a breakthrough rather than require months trying to reach one.
More Than Just an Assessment–Rich theoretical underpinnings of LCP provide pathways to transformation. No other tool offers this.
More Efficient–It's easy to use. Allows a coach to meet leaders “where they are” without spending valuable coaching time finding out where that is.
"After nearly 1000 coaching sessions with many instruments, LCP has led to the best 1-on-1 coaching sessions I have EVER experienced! It goes beyond feedback on behaviors and competencies (which it includes) to the source: core beliefs and assumptions out of which those behaviors live." David Womeldorff, author, coach, Former Consulting Director of Bank One Corporation’s Learning and Leadership Development.
Book Club: The Honeymoon Effect
We’re loving our new book club so we’re meeting October 26th, 2 pm, to discuss “The Honeymoon Effect: the science of creating heaven on earth” by Bruce Lipton.
Lipton is a renowned cell biologist and researcher, now internationally recognized for writing and speaking about the direct connections between science and spirit. Gay Hendricks, PhD, writes, “What a pleasure to read Bruce’s entertaining romp through the science of loving relationships! Bruce makes it clear that couples can learn from the quantum physics, biochemistry, and psychology that promote conscious loving relationships.”
This book offers a fascinating perspective on how we all relate and interact with each other, so we’ll be discussing these in our next event:
What: “The Honeymoon effect: the science of creating heaven on earth” by Bruce Lipton
When: October 26th 2pm
Where: Private home in the SF Marina District
